Futer Bros. Jewelers has a Certified Gemologist on location educated by the Gemological Institute of America and the American Gem Society.
An Insurance Appraisal estimates the replacement cost of a new item in case of a loss. An Estate Appraisal represents Fair Market Value, which is the price a willing buyer and seller would agree on. While you wait appraisals and in home appraisals are available by appointment. Appraisals include multiple copies for you and your insurance company, digital pictures, and a list of questions that focuses on jewelry that you should discuss with your insurance company.
Jewelry Repair
Your gold, platinum, and silver jewelry will be expertly repaired. Our Bench Jeweler studied at the North Bennet Street School in Boston and apprenticed with Designer John Lerner. Custom Design
Futer Bros. Jewelers can custom create any design in 14k, 18k, or platinum. Our staff will guide you in updating a family heirloom or creating a new piece that is uniquely yours. We have great ideas to use all those odd stones just laying around in your jewelry box or safe. Free estimates.
Engraving
We are able to provide machine and hand engraving. Our jeweler is able to machine engrave most pieces on location, utilizing a variety of styles. We offer free engraving on cake knives and watches purchased at Futer Bros. Jewelers.
Silver Repair and Replating
Family heirlooms in sterling or silverplate can be beautifully restored to be enjoyed for years to come. Most often these pieces are no longer being made. As well as silver, our services offer repairs on brass, bronze, and pewter. Silverplating is guaranteed for 25 years. Free estimates.

Japan has been famous for its pearl production, but pearl farmers in China are now producing freshwater pearls that rival those of Japan with a much lower cost. We are pleased to offer freshwater pearls as part of our collection of pearl jewelry.
